I am a people photographer. I make environmental portraits and tell stories about people: what they do, their strengths, what drives them.
Whether I’m making a portrait of an award-winning actress at the Cannes Film Festival, photographing a Michelin-starred chef at work in Monte Carlo, or documenting a truffle hunter’s quest deep in the woods, being a photographer allows me to explore what makes each of us unique, while capturing the threads that connect us all.
Based in the South of France, I hold both British and French nationality and work across France, the Mediterranean region and beyond. My assignments have taken me from sunrise shoots in the Sahara Desert to making pictures from the saddle of a rare Karabakh horse on the golden shores of the Caspian Sea – and to many unexpected places in between.
On certain projects, I bring together photography, writing and other forms of storytelling. My cover feature on fig farming and climate change in the Mediterranean – blending photography, long-form writing, multimedia and anthotypes – for AramcoWorld received the 2024 Eddie & Ozzie Award for Best Single Article. A reportage on migration across the Italian-French Alps that I collaborated on was nominated for the 2017 Franco-German Journalism Prize.

Je réalise des portraits en situation et raconte des histoires de personnes : ce qu’elles font, leurs forces, ce qui les anime.
Que je photographie une actrice primée au Festival de Cannes, un chef étoilé en plein service à Monte-Carlo ou un chasseur de truffes au cœur des bois, la photographie me permet d’explorer ce qui rend chacun de nous unique, tout en capturant les fils invisibles qui nous relient les uns aux autres.
Basée dans les Alpes-Maritimes, je possède la double nationalité britannique et française et travaille à travers la France, le bassin méditerranéen et au-delà. Mes missions m’ont menée d’une prise de vue à l’aube dans le désert du Sahara à des images réalisées, à cheval, sur les rives dorées de la mer Caspienne — et vers bien d’autres lieux inattendus.
Sur certaines commandes, mon travail de narration visuelle s’enrichit de mon écriture. Mon reportage de couverture sur la culture des figuiers et le changement climatique en Méditerranée — mêlant photographie, écriture longue, multimédia et anthotypes — pour AramcoWorld a reçu le prix Eddie & Ozzie 2024 du meilleur article unique. Un reportage sur la migration entre l’Italie et les Alpes françaises, auquel j’ai collaboré, a été nommé au Prix Franco-Allemand du Journalisme 2017.
